Samrat Kannikar possesses extensive experience in software development with a focus on storage system performance and distributed file systems. At NetApp from May 2010 to October 2014, Samrat worked as a Member of Technical Staff, engaging in performance analysis, Quality of Service (QoS), and non-disruptive upgrades for clustered systems. During tenure at IBM from October 2014 to August 2021 as an Advisory Software Engineer, responsibilities included leading development on Clustered & Distributed File Systems, specifically General Parallel File System (GPFS).
