Venkatesh Varadan

Venkatesh Varadan is an accomplished engineering manager with extensive experience in leading teams and delivering complex software products across multiple organizations. Currently at NetApp since May 2019, Venkatesh oversees a 45-member team focused on the Ontap Tools for VMware product, emphasizing roadmap execution and support. Previous roles include senior development engineering management at Dell EMC, where Venkatesh drove major firmware releases for iSCSI storage solutions. Venkatesh's earlier tenure at NetApp involved managing the development of the 7-C Migration Tool and contributions to the Data ONTAP software stack. Venkatesh's career began at Tata Elxsi, evolving from engineer to senior technical manager, demonstrating strong leadership and technical expertise throughout diverse projects. Venkatesh holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and a Master of Science in Mathematics from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
