Xun Peng

Xun Peng is a Senior Software Engineer at NetBrain Technologies Inc. since October 2018, previously serving as a Software Engineer at the same company. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at Northeastern University College of Computer and Information Science from August 2017 to January 2018, where in-depth training in language models, machine learning, and deep learning was obtained, along with ranking 3rd in the Social Media Mining for Health Applications Shared Task at AMIA 2017. Xun also contributed as a Software Engineer Intern at QuantUniversity from September 2017 to December 2017, focusing on backend development for the open-source project "QUsandbox" and deploying deep learning models. Earlier experience includes another Research Assistant position at Northeastern University where research was conducted on data mining and propagation models. Xun holds a Master's degree in Computer and Information Sciences from Northeastern University and a Bachelor's degree in Automation from China University of Petroleum, Beijing.
