Daniel Eichhorn has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Daniel'smost recent role is as a Vendor Senior Software Engineer at Swisscard AECS GmbH, where they started in February 2021. Prior to this, they co-founded ThingPulse GmbH in 2018, a startup specializing in services and hardware for the Internet of Things. In 2006, they joined Netcetera as a Senior Software Engineer, working on various customer projects including a four-year stint at SIX Payment Solutions and a project for Swiss Railways. At Netcetera, they also served as an architect and tech lead for retirement and wealth planning tools, as well as a technical project lead for the Vermögenszentrum Finanzportal, where they helped transform the application into a modern single-page application. From 2013 to 2016, they worked for UBS as a Vendor Architect & Tech Lead, contributing to the development of retirement planning and wealth management web applications. Additionally, they served as the JAZOON'13 Program Chair at Keynode in 2013. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Vendor Software Developer at SIX Payment Services, where they played a key role in migrating a credit card back office application to a new platform.

Daniel Eichhorn obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Science and Economics from the University of Zurich, where they studied from 2001 to 2006. Additionally, they obtained a certification as a Sun Certified Java Programmer (Java 6) from Sun/Oracle in June 2009.
