Thomas Ulvøen

Thomas Ulvøen's work experience includes a role as a Senior Software Developer at Netcetera - Software matters since February 2023. Thomas previously worked at the same company as a Senior Software Engineer from December 2021 to February 2023 and as a Software Engineer from November 2019 to December 2021. Before joining Netcetera, they had a summer internship as a Developer at Capra Consulting AS in 2018, where they worked on full-stack development using React, Java Spring, Hibernate, and AWS. In 2017, they had another summer internship as a Developer at ITverket AS. Thomas started their career as an Instructor in the Norwegian Army from August 2013 to July 2014.

Thomas Ulvøen attended the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) from 2014 to 2019, where they earned a Master's Degree in Computer Science. In 2018, they also participated in an exchange semester at UNSW, focusing on Computer Science. Additionally, they completed a semester exchange program at EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) in 2017-2018 as part of their Masters studies. Prior to their higher education, Thomas attended Heimevernets Befalskole in 2012-2013, where they obtained the rank of Sergeant and studied Reconnaissance. Thomas completed their high school education at Sandsli VGS from 2009 to 2012, specializing in general studies. Thomas has also obtained several additional certifications including VMware Spring Professional 2021 from VMware, Certified SAFe® 4 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc. in 2020, PADI Advanced Open Water from PADI in 2017, and a CMAS Diving Certificate from CMAS - World Underwater Federation in 2014.
