Guhan Gowrishankar

Guhan Gowrishankar has a diverse work experience in finance and accounting roles spanning over several companies. Guhan is currently working as the Vice President of Finance at Netcon Technologies India. Prior to this, they served as the Financial Controller at McWane, Inc. from 2019 to 2020. Guhan also held the position of GM Finance and Accounts at Leap Green Energy Pvt. Ltd. from 2017 to 2019. Before that, they worked as the Financial Controller at CIRCOR International, Inc. from 2015 to 2017 and at WRITER SAFEGUARD PRIVATE LIMITED from 2013 to 2015. Guhan gained extensive experience as the General Manager at Johnson Controls (York India Limited - Refrigeration and Airconditioning Division) from 2005 to 2012. Prior to that, they worked as the Financial Controller at Videojet (erstwhile Willett India Pvt Ltd) from 1997 to 2005. Guhan began their career as a Manager - Accounts at ATCO Group in 1995, followed by a similar role at J L Morison from 1993 to 1995.

Guhan Gowrishankar has a diverse educational background with qualifications obtained from various institutions. In 1981-1982, they attended Vaidheeswara Higher Secondary School in Mettur Dam, where they completed their Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) with a focus on Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Following this, from 1983 to 1986, they pursued a Bachelor's degree at Sri Vasavi College, affiliated with Bharathiar University. Their primary field of study was Physics, with ancillary subjects in Mathematics and Chemistry. Continuing their educational journey, Guhan Gowrishankar attended The Institute of Cost Accountants of India from 1989 to 1992, where they earned a Grad CWA degree. Simultaneously, they enrolled in The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, completing their Chartered Accountant degree from 1989 to 1993. Lastly, in 2001-2002, they took the CISA Examination from the Information System Audit & Control Association in the United States.
