Mark Qian

UI lead/architect at netElastic Systems

Mark Qian has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Mark began their career as a Consultant at Remedy, where they designed and developed AR WebPlus, a web server gateway. Mark then joined Peakstone Inc as a Senior Software Engineer, working on the PAR project and designing a GUI container. Mark later joined Economy Inc and worked on the Visual Process Builder project, where they planned the architecture and development of the workflow builder. At Electron Economy Inc, Mark led the development of Process Builder, a visual multi-tier workflow builder.

Mark's next role was at Network Associates Technology Inc, where they served as a Senior/Owner of the client area, responsible for designing and implementing web applications using MVC and DHTML. Mark also worked on the Service Management Integration project, developing a web-based integration application.

After Network Associates, Mark joined Stalworth, Inc as a UI Lead, designing and implementing a web-based data quality application. Mark worked extensively with Struts, DHTML, OO JavaScript, and Hibernate.

At Starview Technology, Mark served as a UI Lead/Architect, working on the Genesis project, a real-time process intelligence solution and platform.

Mark then joined BMC Software as a Lead Product Developer, where they led the Flex UI team and implemented and tested the platform and its applications.

Most recently, Mark has been working at netElastic Systems as a UI Lead/Architect, leveraging their skills in user interface design and architecture.

Mark Qian attended California State University - East Bay from 1993 to 1995, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Computer Science. There is also a second instance of him attending California State University - East Bay for another Master of Science degree in Computer Science, but the exact dates are not provided.
