Clete Willems

Clete Willems joined Netflix as Chief Global Affairs Officer in April 2025. He was previously a partner at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld. During the first Trump administration, Clete was Deputy Assistant to the President for International Economics and Deputy Director of the National Economic Council. He served in the Office of the US Trade Representative all through the Obama administration as a career attorney. Clete also worked as Legislative Director for Congressman Paul Ryan. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame and Georgetown University Law Center.
