Debdatta Sengupta

Debdatta Sengupta is an experienced editorial professional currently serving as an Editorial Insights Content Analyst for Netflix since December 2023. Prior roles include Producer of Content Insights at Disney+ Hotstar, and Senior Editor at Film Companion, with additional freelance work as a script writer for The Swaddle. Prior to these positions, Debdatta developed a strong foundation at ESPN, where reportage for the Pro Kabaddi League was led, and conducted research on non-mainstream Olympic sports. With earlier experience as a freelance writer for The Red Sparrow and internships at The Telegraph and CNN-IBN, Debdatta has cultivated a diverse skill set in media and content analysis. Debdatta holds a Master of Arts in Mass Communication from Symbiosis Institute of Media and Communication and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Miranda House College.
