Deighton M has extensive experience in reliability engineering and operations, currently serving as VP of Reliability Engineering & Operations at Netflix since November 2014, overseeing Open Connect (CDN) and global infrastructure deployment. Previously, Deighton held the position of Director of Open Connect Reliability Engineering at Netflix, focusing on the performance and reliability of the company's Content Delivery Network. Prior to Netflix, Deighton worked at Microsoft in various roles, including Director of Service Engineering, where responsibilities included the site reliability of core Windows OS services and overseeing critical updates for over a billion devices. Earlier positions at Microsoft included Principal Service Engineering Manager for Windows Web Services and Group Manager for Microsoft.com Operations. Deighton holds a degree in Computer Information Systems from the University of Miami and attended Pierce College.
