Fernando Nova

Fernando Nova is a skilled Software Engineer currently working at Netflix since July 2023, focusing on TV Client Foundations. Prior experience includes a CIRCUIT internship at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, where participation in a research program led to the development of a real-time graphical user interface for remotely operated underwater vehicles using ROS and C#. Fernando also interned at Google, contributing to the Google Meet Android app and Android Auto. Additionally, experience as a Swim Instructor at Asphalt Green involved designing lesson plans and teaching young children water safety and swimming techniques. Fernando holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering and graduated high school with a 4.0 GPA from Harry S Truman High School.
