Gavin Corn

Gavin Corn currently serves as the Director of Data Privacy & Security Legal at Netflix, a position held since August 2021. Prior to this, Gavin was the Director and Associate General Counsel at Facebook from August 2015 to August 2021, leading the Cyber Security Law Team and previously heading the Law Enforcement Outreach Team. Gavin's extensive legal career includes nearly two decades as Senior Counsel at the U.S. Department of Justice, where responsibilities encompassed serious cyber crimes, organized crime, and various federal offenses. Early career experiences include clerkship at the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida and a summer associate role at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP. Gavin holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of Virginia School of Law and a Bachelor's degree in History, Anthropology, and Archaeology from Dickinson College.
