Grace Chang

Grace Chang is an experienced data engineer with a strong background in big data and software engineering. From December 2020 to March 2025, Grace held the position of Senior Data Engineer at Netflix. Prior to this role, Grace was a Senior Big Data Engineer at Glassdoor from August 2019 to December 2020 and served as a volunteer Data Engineering Lead at the Center for New Data for a brief period in 2020. Additional experience includes working as a Senior Software Engineer at Uptake from August 2017 to July 2019, where responsibilities included stream processing and API development for machinery signal data. Earlier in the career at Akuna Capital, Grace was a Junior Developer focusing on trading services and data pipelines. Grace holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science and two Bachelor’s degrees in Statistics and Economics, all from the University of Chicago.
