Jiao Chen

Jiao Chen is an entertainment executive specializing in the creative development and production of major motion pictures. They began their career as a freelance below-the-line production crew member from 2006 to 2009, advancing through roles such as production assistant and assistant production coordinator. Jiao held positions at various notable companies, including serving as a producer's assistant at Macgowan Films in 2012 and later as an executive assistant to the CEO at Lin Pictures Inc. from 2014 to 2016. Most recently, Jiao is the Director of Original Film at Netflix, having previously worked as Vice President of Creative Development at Columbia Pictures from 2020 to 2024. Jiao holds a degree in Media Arts and Production from the University of Technology Sydney.
