Lilian Chen is a seasoned Staff Product Designer currently at Netflix since September 2025, previously serving in the same role at Discord from September 2023 to July 2025. With extensive experience at Google from November 2015 to August 2023, Lilian contributed as a Product Design Lead & Manager, overseeing the Live Core and Monetization for YouTube, and managing a team focused on enhancing live features. Earlier roles include serving as a Designer at TED Conferences from October 2011 to April 2015, where Lilian managed web pages and produced branded assets, as well as working as a Web Designer/Graphic Designer at the Design Center of the University of Connecticut from January 2010 to May 2011. Lilian holds a degree in Communication Design from the University of Connecticut, earned in 2011.
