Michael Bao

Michael Bao is an accomplished Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Netflix and holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Stanford University. They co-founded SquadOV and previously worked as a Physics Programmer at Epic Games, where they explored generative AI applications for Unreal Engine. Michael's career includes roles at Industrial Light & Magic, Adobe, and Torn Banner Studios, where they contributed to the development of award-winning titles. They began their academic journey with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
