Shannon Bart is an experienced professional in film and commercial production with a focus on sustainability. Career began in freelance work from April 2004 to March 2009, where Shannon worked as a technician and progressed to production logistics and management roles, including 2nd AD, Production Coordinator, and Production Manager. In December 2008, Shannon founded EcoSet, a company dedicated to providing sustainability resources to the creative industries, offering zero waste and reuse services for productions and events. Shannon held the position of Sustainable Production Manager at NBCUniversal Media, LLC from June 2009 to February 2016, leading the establishment and implementation of the NBCUniversal Sustainable Production Program globally. Since December 2020, Shannon has served Netflix as a Manager and currently as Senior Manager in Sustainability & Productions, specializing in sustainability practices within TV and film production, studio operations, and corporate sustainability initiatives. Shannon holds a BA in Journalism and Mass Communication with a focus on Broadcast Production from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.
