Shawn Yang is the Head of Public Policy for Taiwan and Hong Kong at Netflix, where they currently lead policy initiatives. They have held a pivotal role as a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators since 2018 and serve as the Telecom & Media Committee Co-Chair at AmCham Taiwan. Previously, Shawn worked as Public Policy Counsel at LINE Corp and contributed to various research projects, including work with the Ministry of Health and Welfare and Academia Sinica. Shawn holds a Master of Laws from National Taiwan University and dual Bachelor's degrees in Psychology and Law from National Cheng Kung University.
