Todd Jansen

Todd Jansen is an accomplished animator and educator with extensive experience in the animation industry and academia. Jansen began as a Previz Artist at Pixel Liberation Front and has since held significant roles, including Previz/Layout Animator at PDI/DreamWorks and DreamWorks Animation, contributing to projects like Megamind, Madagascar 3, and Trolls. Jansen progressed to become the Head of Layout, overseeing projects including Croods 2 and Trolls Holiday Special, while also advising on toolset upgrades. As a Head of Cinematography at Netflix and an Adjunct Professor at California Institute of the Arts, Jansen continues to impact the field through teaching and leadership. Additionally, Jansen completed a degree in Animation from Animation Mentor between 2006 and 2008.
