Vinay Rayini

Vinay Rayini is a Software Engineer with extensive experience in building distributed systems and developing cloud infrastructure. Currently employed at Netflix since June 2023, Vinay is focused on enhancing Kafka as a Service to manage over 19 trillion events per day. Prior roles include working at Google on the Compute Engine Control Plane, where contributions involved orchestrating virtual machine operations and developing a significant metadata service for scaling capabilities. At Microsoft, Vinay designed a real-time user targeting infrastructure for Dynamics 365 applications. Earlier experiences as an intern at GoDaddy and ExxonMobil involved developing data pipelines and workflow optimization tools, respectively. Vinay holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Austin.
