Wei Wu has extensive experience in software engineering, having worked at notable companies such as Microsoft, Google, and Netflix. Beginning a career at Microsoft from June 2012 to February 2016 as a Software Development Engineer and then transitioning to Software Engineer II in the SQL Server, Database System Team, Wei Wu later joined Google in February 2016, progressing from Software Engineer to Senior Software Engineer with a focus on Technical Infrastructure and Cloud Security, particularly in Identity-Aware Proxy, Context-Aware Access, BeyondCorp, and Zero Trust solutions. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Netflix since April 2021, Wei Wu has also significantly contributed to the Google Search Ecosystem as a tech lead for the Prompt Genome repository system.
