Yang Chen, Ph.D., is a Senior Data Scientist at Netflix, focusing on core streaming products and Netflix Games. Previously, they worked as an Economist at Amazon, where they utilized causal inference and machine learning for supply chain optimization. Yang also held various roles in quantitative analysis and research at Capital One and IMPAQ International, respectively, where they led projects for significant governmental clients. They earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Fudan University and a Doctor of Philosophy in Economics from The Ohio State University, where they received multiple teaching awards.
