Michael Gorman

Michael Gorman has over 25 years of experience in the technology industry. Michael began their career in 1994 as a Lab Technician/Solutions Engineer at IBM. In 1998, they joined Verizon Wireless as a Manager - Network Performance and Manager - Planning. In 2015, they were promoted to Manager - Technology at Verizon Wireless. In 2016, they joined NetFoundry as the Head of Operations and CISO, where they were responsible for the security and compliance program within the company. Michael also led the technical support functions and overall network operations. In addition, they created and led the program to achieve an unqualified SOC-2 report.

Michael Gorman received their Electrical and Electronics Engineering degree from North Carolina State University between 1989 and 1992. Michael has since obtained several certifications, including the Mirantis Certified Administrator for OpenStack Professional Level from Mirantis in April 2016, the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in June 2017, the AWS Certified Security Specialty from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in September 2019, the Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) from (ISC)² in January 2019, and the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) from Cisco Systems in September 2016.
