Paul Lorenz has worked in the software engineering industry since 1999, starting with a Co-op role at West Group. Paul then moved to NetSetGo Inc. as a Software Engineer in 2000. In 2002, they joined Mitchell Technologies, Inc. as a Developer. In 2004, they joined Global Crossing as a Senior Software Engineer. In 2010, they joined Axeda Corporation (now part of ThingWorx, a PTC Business) as a Principal Software Engineer. In 2014, they joined ThingWorx, a PTC Business, as a Software Engineer, Technical Fellow. Most recently, in 2019, they joined NetFoundry as a Principal Software Engineer, Advanced Development, working on Ziti, an open source, zero trust, smart overlay mesh network.
Paul Lorenz obtained their Masters in Computer Science from the Rochester Institute of Technology between 1997 and 2009. Prior to that, they attended the State University of New York College at Potsdam from 1995 to 1997, studying Computer Science.
