Robert Caamano

Robert Caamano has over twenty years of work experience. From 1992 to 1996, they worked as an Electronics Technician for the USAF. From 1996 to 1997, they were a Senior Technical Associate at AT&T Solutions, where they assisted in the design and coordination for test WANs and was a member of a core team responsible for management and technical support of multiple Cisco routers. From 1997 to 1999, they were an Internetworking Consultant/Team Leader at RPM Consulting, where they lead the engineering team tasked with the design and implementation of a redundant 2000+ PU SNA infrastructure. From 1999 to 2016, they worked at Fujitsu Network Communications as a Solution Architect VI, where they lead implementation and integration engineering for several Carrier Optical Ethernet Network backbone deployments and MPLS VPN L2 and L3 IP Multicast video networks. Since 2016, they have been the Head of Cloud Engineering and Co-Founder at NetFoundry.

Robert Caamano obtained their Master of Science in Computer Science from DePaul University between 2010 and 2012. Robert also holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Business/Management from Saint Leo University, which they obtained in 1995. In addition, they hold a Mirantis Certified Administrator for Openstack - MCA200 (Professional Level) certification, which they obtained in October 2016.
