Shawn Carey

Shawn Carey has worked in the software engineering industry since 1992. Shawn began their career at Intellisys, Inc. as a Software Engineer, where they contributed to a visual analysis application used in automotive factories for quality control. In 1997, they joined Questra Corporation as a Software Architect, where they developed printer diagnostic software and a make-based build system for the Questra Agent SDK. In 2008, they became a Principal Software Engineer at Axeda Corporation, where they developed several features in their IoT platform and identified and resolved issues that limited throughput for high volume users. In 2015, they joined ThingWorx, a PTC Business, as a Principal Software Engineer, where they developed tools for building applications, associated docker images and Jenkins pipelines with gradle. Shawn is currently employed as a Software Engineer in Advanced Development at NetFoundry.

Shawn Carey attended Syracuse University from 1990 to 1995.
