Niklas Nilsson

Niklas Nilsson has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Niklas is currently working at Netgain AB as a Consultant Manager & Business Analyst, where they specialize in digitalization and automation solutions. Previous to this, they worked at Statens servicecenter as a FÖRVALTNINGSLEDARE, GRUPPLEDARE, responsible for strategic and operational management. Niklas also took a sabbatical to develop their mountaineering skills at Upnorth. Prior to that, they worked at Atea as an IT-Management Consultant, handling a large IT transformation project for a municipality. Niklas has also held the position of Chief Security Officer at WorldPay Sweden and worked at Envoy Services Sweden (Worldpay) as Head of Operations and Head of Risk and Compliance. Earlier in their career, they worked at Boss Media AB as Head of Risk and Compliance, in addition to being a Risk Manager. Niklas started their career as a Marketing Coordinator at Maxkompetens, working as a liaison between the recruitment firm and Växjö University. Overall, Niklas has a broad range of experience in various leadership and technical roles, showcasing their expertise in areas such as project management, security, operations, and risk management.

Niklas Nilsson pursued their education at various institutions. Niklas began their academic journey in 2002 at Växjö University, where they completed a Master of Science degree in Information Systems in 2006, specializing in Informatics. Following this, from 2014 to 2015, Niklas attended Mid Sweden University, where they focused on Quality Technology and Management, specifically Lean principles. In April 2018, they obtained a Wilderness First Responder certification from NOLS.
