Edwin Liu

Edwin Liu has a strong background in mechanical engineering and has worked for multiple companies throughout their career. Edwin started their career at Matrix Engineering Group, where they worked as a partner from 1997 to 2007. Later, they joined Sierra Wireless as a Senior Mechanical Engineer from 2008 to 2011, where they focused on the mechanical design of wireless modems. Edwin then took on the role of Staff Engineer, Mechanical at Sierra Wireless from 2012 to 2013. In 2013, Edwin joined NETGEAR as a Sr. Staff Engineer, Mechanical and was later promoted to Principal Engineer, Mechanical in April 2018. At NETGEAR, they have been responsible for designing mechanical components and working closely with various teams to ensure manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.

Edwin Liu has a BASc degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo. Edwin also holds an M.Eng degree in Mech&Industrial Engineering from the University of Toronto. Additionally, they hold a Professional Engineer (P.Eng) certification from APEGBC.
