Eric Cheng

Eric Cheng is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in firmware and software testing. Currently serving as a Staff Engineer at NETGEAR since August 2018, Eric leads a team focused on mobile hotspots and LTE modem verifications, enhances testing efficiency through the development of automated scripts in Python and C#, and has previously held roles including Senior Engineer and Engineer in the same domain. Prior to NETGEAR, Eric worked at Delta Controls Inc. and Tantalus, developing automated scripts and integrating systems to simulate commercial building scenarios. Eric began the career at NETGEAR as a Software Test Engineer Co-op, contributing to various testing initiatives. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Mathematics from The University of British Columbia.
