Eric Njeru

Eric Njeru has worked in the IT industry since 2009. Eric began their career at Databit Ltd as a Technical Support Network/Voice Engineer, where they were responsible for networking and installation of VOIP systems, as well as providing onsite and remote technical support to clients. In 2010, they moved to Bitz IT Consulting Ltd. as a Network Engineer and IT Consultant, where they were responsible for overseeing the deployment, configuring, maintaining and monitoring active network equipment, as well as the development, maintenance, and management of customer server infrastructures. In 2011, Eric worked at Blueflare Solutions as a Network Engineer and IT Consultant. In 2014, they became a Technical Consultant for NATHAN CLAIRE AFRICA. From 2015-2017, Eric worked at Gulf African Bank as a Network Engineer/Network Administrator, where they were responsible for setting up, deploying, configuring, monitoring, maintaining and securing the corporate data network, as well as data center setup and migration, and implementation and maintenance of site to site virtual private networks (VPN). In 2017, Eric began working at NetGuardians as a Professional Services Consultant, where their primary duty was to participate in all phases of implementation and deployment of NetGuardians solution, including serving as a part of the implementation team effort and participating in contact between the customer, configuration, data migration, development, professional services, and support during the implementation process. Eric was later promoted to Senior Professional Services Consultant and then Team Lead, Professional Services.

Eric Njeru has an extensive education history. Eric attended Jack Welch Management Institute in 2015, where they completed the course Creating a Winning Strategy. Eric then attended the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China from 2012 to 2014, where they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Computer Science and Technology with a focus on Networks. From 2006 to 2010, they attended Kenyatta University, where they obtained a Bsc in Computer Science.
