Max Karlsén

Max Karlsén is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in senior leadership roles across various industries. Currently serving as Group CFO at Netigate since January 2025, Max previously held the position of CFO at Visma Software AB from April 2023 to January 2025, where leadership of the finance department focused on insights-based decision-making and operational efficiency. Prior to this, Max spent over a decade at Novartis, progressing through roles such as Head of Immunology in Sweden, where management of a >$60 million business was undertaken. Max also held significant positions in financial analysis and business controlling within Novartis, contributing to global operations with a turnover exceeding $50 billion. Earlier career experience includes roles at E.ON, handling financial planning and project management. Max holds an LLM in Law from Lund University.
