Douglas Patton is an experienced pilot currently serving as a First Officer at NetJets since March 2018. Previously, Douglas held the position of First Officer at ExpressJet Airlines from May 2007 to March 2018, flying the Embraer 135/145 and navigating a series of furloughs and rehiring events during that tenure. Douglas also worked as a Flight Instructor for the US Aviation Group in early 2013, focusing on instrument training for a Chinese flight program, and at Airline Transport Professionals as a Primary Instructor in the Private Pilot program in late 2006. Prior to these roles, Douglas served in the US Navy from May 2002 to July 2004 as an Aircrewman and Plane Captain with the VR-61 Fleet Logistics Support Squadron. Douglas holds a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with a focus on Criminology from The University of Texas at Arlington.
