Ivan Zarea

Ivan Zarea is an experienced engineering leader currently serving as an Engineering Manager at Netlify since October 2021. Previously, Ivan held several significant roles at YoungCapital, including Head of Development, where leadership spanned over 50 engineers and included the introduction of OKRs and performance review structures. Ivan also served as Lead Architect, facilitating a transition to a service-based architecture, and as Engineering Manager, where the implementation of continuous delivery significantly increased release frequency. Earlier positions included CTO at Blogant, Team Lead at Salt Edge, and various development roles at FusionWorks and Magnetsoft, showcasing a strong background in software development and team leadership. Ivan holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Technical University of Moldova.
