Sofia Dandjee

Sofia Dandjee is a Data Consultant at Netlight since November 2022, with previous experience as a Data Scientist Intern at UBS from March to September 2022. Sofia completed a Master's thesis at ETH Zürich from September 2021 to February 2022, focusing on multilingual question answering using Pytorch and HuggingFace, exploring various strategies for training multilingual models. Prior to that, Sofia interned at Inpher from February to August 2021, conducting research on privacy-preserving federated learning methods and applying these techniques to sentiment analysis tasks. Sofia also served as a Teaching Assistant at École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne from September 2019 to June 2020. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Computational Science and Engineering from EPFL (2019-2022), an exchange year in Biomedical Engineering at KTH Royal Institute of Technology (2018-2019), a Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences Engineering from EPFL (2016-2019), and a Baccalauréat in Scientific studies from Lycée des Mascareignes (2013-2016).
