William Åkvist

William Åkvist is a data engineer currently working as a consultant at Netlight since February 2024, specializing in financial services. Previously, Åkvist held data analyst positions at Volvo Cars and Volvo Car Mobility, where responsibilities included data modeling with dbt and Snowflake, as well as creating visualizations in Power BI. Åkvist's academic background includes a Master’s thesis focused on data-centric AI applied to computer vision at Volvo Cars and teaching assistance in Python programming at Chalmers University of Technology. Åkvist holds an M.Sc. in Complex Adaptive Systems from Chalmers University of Technology and a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology, along with study experience at ETH Zürich.
