Per Nihlen

Per Nihlen serves as the Chief Technology Officer at SUNET and the Swedish Research Council since 2017, and has held the position of CTO at SUNET since 2013. They have extensive experience in networking and technical support, having worked as a Network Manager at NORDUnet from 2007 to 2015 and a Network Specialist at Polismyndigheten from 1996 to 2001. Per's technical background is complemented by a degree in Electrical Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, earned in 2000. Additionally, they currently serve as Chairman of the Board for the Stiftelsen för Telematikens Utveckling and as a Board Member for both Stiftelsen Netnod and NORDUnet A/S.
