Bikal Basnet

Bikal Basnet is an experienced data scientist and data engineer with a strong background in machine learning techniques and data analysis. Bikal has worked with various companies, including Netomi and ProNavigator, where they developed and deployed advanced models using state-of-the-art ML techniques. In their role at GrowByData LLC, they worked on data engineering projects, including building data ingestion and cleaning engines, developing a crawler for large-scale data acquisition, and creating a data quality audit engine. Additionally, Bikal has completed 10+ data science projects, including sales demand forecasting, NLP, image recognition, and self-driving car projects, and has taught courses in data mining and warehousing as a lecturer at the College of Applied Business and Gandaki College of Engineering and Science.

Bikal Basnet completed their Bachelors in Computer Engineering from Tribhuvan University in 2007. Bikal later pursued a Masters of Computer and System Science from Stockholm University and completed it in 2013. In addition to their formal education, they obtained various certifications: Machine Learning Engineer Nanodegree from Udacity in 2016, Data Analysis from Coursera in 2014, Introduction to R from Udemy in 2013, and Cloudera Certified Developer for Apache Hadoop (CCDH) from Cloudera in 2013.
