Eric Nicely has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Eric began their career in the United States Army as a Network Switching Systems Administrator. After leaving the military, they worked as a Social Services Case Manager with the Young Adult Guidance Center Inc. Eric then transitioned into the tech industry, working as a Technical Support Representative II for Sprint and a Network Tech II for KBR, Inc. Eric later joined Fluor Corporation as an Area I.T. Supervisor and then moved on to Geospatial Systems as a Network Administrator. Eric then worked at DSCI, a TelePacific company, as a NOC Senior Network Engineer and Theater Voice Lead. Eric then moved to Cigna, where they served as a NOC Infrastructure Engineer Specialist. Eric is currently employed at NetPlanner Systems, Inc. as a Network Engineer. Overall, Eric has a solid background in network engineering and IT support, with experience in both the public and private sectors.

Eric Nicely has a diverse educational background and a strong focus on Information Technology. In 2009, they obtained an Associate of Science degree in Information Technology from American InterContinental University, where they studied from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, from 2000 to 2004, they attended the U.S. Army Signal School, where they completed the General Dynamics GTE Network Switch Training in the field of Information Technology.

In addition to their formal education, Eric has also pursued various certifications. Eric obtained the ITIL-F (ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management) from EXIN, the CCNA Security, CCNA Voice, CCNA Routing & Switching, and CCDP Cisco Certified Design Professional certifications from Cisco. Furthermore, they acquired the CompTIA Security+, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, and CCDA Cisco Certified Design Associate certifications. These certifications were obtained between 2009 and 2013.

Eric also undertook specialized training programs related to Information Technology. In 2001, they attended the SMART-T Satellite Communication Training in Fort Gordon, Georgia. In 2002, they completed the General Dynamics ATM Network Switch Training in Fort Hood, Texas. Furthermore, in 2003, they underwent the Motorola Land Mobile Radio Stealth Telecom Training in Dubai, UAE.
