Abel Tan

Abel Tan is an experienced finance and audit professional currently serving as AVP Group Audit at NETS since August 2022. Previously, Abel held the position of Internal Audit AVP at Hong Leong Finance, overseeing compliance and operational audits. With a background in finance management at Sigma X Pte Ltd and Unity Group, Abel has led teams in financial oversight, collaborated with executives on strategic matters, and implemented accounting systems. Abel's extensive experience also includes roles in mergers and acquisitions at Essilor AMERA, where thorough due diligence and audit processes were conducted. Additionally, Abel began the career as an audit intern at KPMG Malaysia and advanced to a Senior Auditor at KPMG Singapore, focusing on full-scope audits for multinational companies. Abel holds a Bachelor of Accountancy degree from Multimedia University.
