Cyrus Serrano has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Cyrus currently works as a Support Engineer at Thales Digital Identity and Security (ex Gemalto) since 2022. Prior to that, they were a Lead Engineer at NETS starting from 2010. Cyrus also worked as a System Analyst at MindWave Solutions from 2009 to 2010 and at Housing & Development Board from 2007 to 2009.
Before entering the private sector, Cyrus worked as a Programmer Analyst at West Contact Services from 2006 to 2007. In this role, they were responsible for identifying program requirements, developing and implementing code, and creating web services for clients using BEA Weblogic Workshop 8.1.
Furthermore, Cyrus served as a College Professor at STI College from 1997 to 2004. In this role, they taught various computer subjects and acted as Thesis 1 Coordinator, overseeing projects and scheduling thesis defenses for graduating students.
Cyrus Serrano has a Master's degree in Information Technology Project Management, obtained from STI College. Cyrus completed their degree between 2003 and 2005. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the Philippine Christian University. This degree was obtained between 1993 and 1997.
In addition to their formal education, Cyrus Serrano has obtained several certifications. These include a Project Management Support Certificate from Lewis Institute, Inc. (obtained in 2012), ITIL Foundation Level certification from Pink Elephant (obtained in 2011), JSP training from Meralco Foundation, Inc. (obtained in 2007), Sun Certified Java Programmer (SCJP) 1.4 certification from Sun Microsystems (obtained in 2005), and an MS Visual Basic certification from Informatics Philippines (obtained in 1999).
