Vp, Product Management at NETS

Gabriel Lim has extensive experience in product management and development. Gabriel started their career at Standard Chartered Bank in 2010, where they played a key role in managing product roadmaps and developing mobile banking applications globally. During their time at the bank, they delivered over 50 product releases and drove incremental and new product development to improve customer experience and brand recognition.

In 2014, Gabriel joined Singtel as a Product Development Manager, where they focused on the development of Dash, a mobile money service jointly created by Singtel and Standard Chartered. Gabriel defined and articulated product requirements, collaborated with technology teams, and ensured successful end-to-end delivery.

Gabriel then moved on to DocDoc Pte. Ltd. in 2016, where they served as a Team Lead in Product Management. Gabriel led a regional team of engineers, test analysts, and designers, and was responsible for the product experience in a doctor discovery platform. Gabriel formulated product vision and strategy, launched and iterated on approaches to improve user experience, and pursued high potential business opportunities.

In their most recent role as VP of Product Management at NETS, starting in 2020, Gabriel is responsible for the overall product management and execution of the strategic roadmap. Gabriel focuses on acquiring merchants directly for Mastercard and Visa and expanding NETS' role as the acquirer of choice for merchants. Gabriel also drives the product roadmap for the NETS Unified POS system, ensuring a comprehensive range of payment methods for consumers.

Gabriel Lim has a Bachelor's Degree in Software Information Systems, which they obtained from The University of Queensland. Gabriel pursued this degree from 2007 to 2008. Following this, Gabriel Lim then pursued a Master's Degree in Business, Major in Finance at University College Dublin from 2008 to 2009.
