Jason Tee has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Jason began their career as a Systems Engineer at Infineon Technologies from January 2009 to August 2009. Jason then pursued a Graduate Research Assistant role at Multimedia University from 2009 to 2012. Jason later joined Comptel as a Software Engineer in March 2013 and worked until November 2015, where they gained experience in software development using Java and participated in code reviews and daily scrum meets. Jason then transitioned to DigitalRoute as an Implementation Consultant from November 2015 to June 2018, where they analyzed business requirements, developed and tested software implementations, and provided Level 2 support for application-related problems. Currently, Jason is working at NETS since October 2018 as a Senior Lead Engineer. Their responsibilities include requirements gathering, design and development of Extract-Transform-Load solutions, providing Level 1 and 2 support for Tableau Dashboards, system administration on Vertica database, and designing projections for frequently used SQL queries.
Jason Tee obtained their Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering from Multimedia University, which they attended from 2002 to 2008. Jason then pursued a Masters of Science (I.T.) degree from the same university, completing it in 2014.
In addition to their formal education, Jason has also obtained several certifications in various data analysis and programming courses. Jason completed courses such as "Reproducible Research," "Exploratory Data Analysis," "Getting and Cleaning Data," "R Programming," and "The Data Scientist's Toolbox" from Coursera Course Certificates in 2016. Jason also completed the "Try R" course from Code School in the same year.
