Zaw Thu

Zaw Thu has extensive work experience in the field of networking and IT. Zaw started their career as a Computer Service Technician at Penguin Millennium Hi-Tech IT Training and Service Center in 2014. After that, they worked as a Network Engineer at Frontiir from 2015 to 2017. Zaw then joined Telecom International Myanmar Co, Ltd as an IT Engineer from 2017 to 2019, and later transitioned to the role of an IP Network Engineer from 2019 to 2021. In 2022, Zaw Thu worked as a Senior IP Core Engineer at Golden TMH Telecom Co.,Ltd where they were responsible for troubleshooting the Access and Core Metro Network. Currently, they are employed as a Senior Network Engineer at NETS. Zaw'sexperience includes handling various networking protocols and technologies such as OSPF, BGP, MPLS, and L2 VPN.

Zaw Thu obtained a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature/Letters from Dagon University, where they studied from 2012 to 2016. After completing their Bachelor's degree, they pursued a Diploma in Network and System Administration/Administrator at National Management Degree College from 2016 to 2017.

In terms of additional certifications, Zaw Thu obtained the Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA) certification from Cisco in May 2016. Zaw later achieved the Cisco Certified Network Professional Routing and Switching (CCNP-RS) certification in December 2019. Zaw'smost recent certification is the Cisco Certified Specialist - Security Core, which they obtained from Cisco in February 2023.
