Christopher Carr

Christopher Carr has a diverse work experience in the field of cyber operations and network security. Christopher currently works at NetSage as a Cyber Operations Instructor since November 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Network Threat Support Specialist at NetSage from March 2020 to November 2021. Christopher also served as a Cyber Operations Instructor at NetSage from September 2019 to March 2020.

In addition, Christopher Carr co-owned and served as the Technical Director at Jovian Cyber Solutions starting from February 2020.

Before joining the private sector, Christopher Carr had a long career with the United States Department of Defense. Christopher worked as a Computer Network Exploitation Operations Specialist, where they trained, mentored, and certified personnel on CNE tools and advanced exploitation techniques. Christopher performed CNE operations using specialized tools and techniques in support of national Department of Defense missions. Christopher'stenure in this role lasted from July 2010 to August 2019.

Christopher Carr's earlier work experience includes serving as a Cryptologic Technician Networks in the US Navy. In this role, they provided computer network and infrastructure analysis and technical solutions to produce computer network operations effects. Christopher had responsibilities such as computer network defense analysis, digital forensics analysis, digital network exploitation analysis, interactive operations, expeditionary operations, research and development, and cyber planning. Christopher served as a Cryptologic Technician Networks from June 2010 to August 2019. Prior to this, they worked as a Fire Controlman in the US Navy from September 1999 to May 2010.

Christopher Carr obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Technical Management from DeVry University, which they attended from 2013 to 2016. Prior to that, from 2009 to 2010, they attended the Joint Cyber Analysis Course and studied Computer Science. Christopher'seducation also includes attending the Advanced Electronics Technical Core from 1999 to 2001, where they focused on Computer Systems and Advanced Electronics. In addition to their formal education, Christopher has obtained various certifications. In 2018, they obtained a Computer Programmer certification from the Department Of Labor & Training. In 2017, they obtained a Computer Operator certification from the same institution. Christopher also holds certifications from CompTIA, including CompTIA Certified Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP+), CompTIA Security+ (Sec+), CompTIA Cyber Security Analyst (CySA+), CompTIA Security Analytics Expert, and CompTIA Security Analytics Professional. Additionally, Christopher has a CCNA Cyber Ops certification from Cisco and a Certified Ethical Hacker certification from EC-Council.
