Fred Phillips

Fred Phillips is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in network and packet analysis, currently serving as a Principal Technical Instructor at NetScout Systems since July 2005. In this role, Fred leads training sessions for corporate and government network troubleshooters, covering topics such as IPv6 and VoIP. Prior to NetScout Systems, Fred was an Instructor at WildPackets from December 1999 to July 2005, focusing on packet analysis. Fred's career began at Ciber as a Project Manager from January 1997 to November 1999, where responsibilities included server design, implementation, and troubleshooting. Educationally, Fred holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from George Mason University and a CNX degree in System, Networking, and LAN/WAN Management from Sniffer University.
