Andrew Smith

Andrew Smith is an experienced technology professional with a strong background in Site Reliability Engineering and infrastructure management. At Netsmart, Andrew has served in various leadership roles since March 2014, including Principal Architect for R&D Engineering and Director & Principal Architect for Site Reliability Engineering, where responsibilities include defining the vision for SRE and managing a high-performance team focused on uptime and problem-solving. Prior to Netsmart, Andrew worked as a Senior Unix Administrator and Systems Engineer at companies including Omnicare and The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, where expertise encompassed UNIX systems, server optimization, and adherence to best practices. Andrew holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration IT Management from Western Governors University and an Associate’s degree in IT/Networking from the University of Phoenix.
