Andy Heeren

Andy Heeren is an accomplished business leader with extensive experience in the healthcare technology sector. Currently serving as Senior Director of Public Health at Netsmart since February 2021, Andy is responsible for P&L management and strategic leadership of the Public Health business portfolio, focusing on go-to-market strategies and client value. Previously, at Cerner Corporation from November 1998 to January 2021, Andy held several key roles, culminating in Senior Director of Network Intellectual Property, where oversight of product strategy and a development team led to a major ADT notification solution that significantly reduced readmissions. Andy also played a pivotal role in enhancing interoperability and achieving cost savings through strategic acquisitions. Additionally, as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors for DirectTrust from April 2012 to January 2021, Andy contributed to the Federated Services Agreement that enabled secure information exchange among healthcare organizations nationwide. Andy holds a degree from Kansas State University.
