James Frater possesses extensive experience in software development and engineering management, spanning several decades. Currently serving as Engineering Manager at Netsmart since September 2014, James has led agile development projects in the Long Term Care market utilizing the Microsoft stack. Previously, as Software Development Director at Creative Software Solutions from June 2006 to September 2014, James oversaw all phases of software development for various clients. Additionally, during a twenty-year tenure at McKesson Provider Technologies, James held multiple roles, culminating as Technical Development Advisor, where responsibilities included product planning and managing a team for a flagship product serving over 600 customers. James holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Rutgers University, with an English minor.
