Ryan Behan

Ryan Behan is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in the healthcare technology sector. As Vice President of Engineering and Principal Architect at Netsmart since July 2004, Ryan has successfully led engineering teams focused on Health Information Technology (HIT), Electronic Health Records (EHR), and Performance Engineering. Previous roles at Netsmart include Senior Director and Director, with a strong emphasis on innovation and disrupting traditional healthcare practices. Additionally, Ryan has served on the Medical Advisory Board for the Center of Excellence in Wireless and Information Technology at Stony Brook University and has been an active member of InfraGard Long Island and OWASP, contributing significantly to application security education. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh.
