Akbar Ali

Syed Akbar Ali is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in information security and system engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Information Security Specialist at NETSOL Technologies Inc. since August 2012, Akbar has played a key role in deploying Microsoft technologies to enhance the IT infrastructure and automate administrative tasks for over 3,000 employees globally. Key achievements include the deployment of the Lync 2013 Enterprise solution, ensuring site resiliency and high availability. Prior to NETSOL, Akbar held the position of Network Administrator at The Universal Insurance Company Limited from 2008 to 2012, where leadership was demonstrated in implementing Active Directory infrastructures and email solutions. Academically, Akbar holds a Master of Information Technology from the University of the Punjab and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Physics from Govt College Sahiwal.
